He holds a graduation in Journalism and a master\u2019s in Communication Sciences from the S\u00e3o Paulo University (USP), is associate researcher at the Mato Grosso Federal University (UFMT) and a professor in the Graduate Programs in Communication (PPGCOM) and in Contemporary Culture Studies (ECCO), both at UFMT. Member of the Multimodal Academic Communication Task Force of IAMCR; of the GT of Events and Public Figures at Comp\u00f3s; of the GT of Communication and Politics of the Portuguese Association of Communication Sciences (SOPCOM) and of the GT Theories and Methods of Communication Research of the Spanish Association of Communication Research (AE-IC), he leads the Multimundos Research Group. He develops research on Communication and Politics, Events and Public Figures, Audiovisual Essays, Academic Podcasts, and Cinematographic Journalism.
