Professor and researcher at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Spain). She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and a PhD in Communication Sciences. Her artistic, teaching and research work revolves around the image, especially photography, in its technical, plastic and semantic aspects. She takes a Gender Studies approach in the study of the image, participating in research projects in the area of gender representations and Cultural Studies, interrelated with her artistic work in which she looks for the inertias between landscape and identity, with special attention to cooperative and interactive action, women and the rural. https://gestion2.urjc.es/pdi/ver/gema.pastor
