Priscila Lima Freitas is a PhD student in the Postgraduate Program in Contemporary Culture Studies (ECCO-UFMT). She has a master's degree in Contemporary Culture Studies (ECCO- UFMT). Bachelor's Degree in Languages with specialization in Portuguese, Spanish, and Respective Literatures from the Cuiabá University (UNIC), and a degree in Social Communication with a major in Radio Broadcasting from the Mato Grosso Federal University (UFMT). She has a degree in Technology in Theatre from the Mato Grosso State University (UNEMAT). She is a guest instructor in the Scenic Lighting course where she teaches Lighting and Narrativity, Lighting and Performativity, and Lighting and the Group Theatre to the MT Theatre School/UNEMAT. She is part of the project “SPECULUM – Filming and looking at oneself in the mirror: the self-writing use by Portuguese-speaking documentary filmmakers” of the LABCOM Center. She is also an active illuminator in the work market where she develops projects of creation, assembly and light operation for theatre plays, performances, shows and audio-visual. Her principal areas of interest are Cinema, visual arts, education, language, communication, and culture.
